Frequently asked questions

Is this really solid wood? ▾

Yes — staves of hevea or acacia, finger-jointed and edge-glued into a full 1-1/2″ slab. No veneer, no particleboard core. You can sand it flat and re-oil it for twenty years.

Does it arrive finished? ▾

It arrives unfinished and pre-sanded. You oil it after cutting so the cut edges are sealed too. UV-finished options are available in some sizes.

Can I cut it myself? ▾

Yes. A circular saw with a fine-tooth blade and a straight edge is enough. Round the internal corners of sink cut-outs and seal every cut edge.

What sizes fit a standard kitchen? ▾

25 in deep is the standard counter over a 24 in base cabinet. Islands are 39 in. See the size guide for every length.

How long does delivery take? ▾

Delivery is included in every price on this site — nothing is added at checkout. Boxed tops arrive in 3–5 business days; oversized pieces travel LTL freight in 5–8 days, curbside.

What if it arrives damaged? ▾

Note it on the delivery bill, send photos within 48 hours, and we replace it.

Where is it made? ▾

In our own six factories in Vietnam, from FSC-certified plantation hevea and acacia, then shipped to our own warehouses in Georgia, California and Texas.

Do you sell to businesses? ▾

Yes. Pallet and container pricing is on the wholesale side — applications are approved the same day.
